The Day Has Come

It is June, 30, 2015, 11:50 pm
10 mins left before the end of June!
It was a fun challenge, I did miss a few days (which I am planning to make up for) and it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. :)
Anyway, as promised the second part of our vlog.
And so goodbye June, it was a super fabulous month!

Camping Trip #1

Just over a week ago we were able to pack up our things and head out for the first camping trip this year. We bought a different camper this Spring so we were very excited to try it out!
We headed out with some friends of ours and had a blast, in spite of rain one day.
We enjoyed the boat, the kids loved sleeping in the bunks, and there were very few mosquitoes!

Everyone excited to leave!

It was the first time on a boat for any of our kids. They loved it!!

After Josh got the trolling motor going we did some fishing.

They 2 boys are so cute together, I love watching them. :)

Here We Go!

So, as promised we did a vlog, answering questions from our readers.
But it just so happened that we had so much wisdom to share with you all that the blog got pretty long. :)
So we decided to spilt it into 2 parts, one for today and one for tomorrow.
Without further adieu...

Date Night Excitement

The other day the farm work was kinda sorta caught up with. :)
So Josh and I were able to go out for a date, thanks Dad!!
We left the yard and immediately we saw them, small little funnel clouds, not something that you want to see if you're a farmer; not something you want to see if you're anyone really!
I had never seen one before, so this was pretty amazing!
We drove for about 20 mins watching the them, till they started touching the ground, then we figured we had better stop.
We watched them for around 1/2 an hour, seeing 3 different touch downs. None of them were huge, so not much damage was done, but the sight of them is not very comforting.
We did eventually make it to Boston Pizza for supper and then some shopping and tennis.
We are very thankful that everyone stayed safe, and the crops were ok. We were once again reminded that we are not in control, the God of the wind and the waves has a plan for us, a PERFECT plan.
We trust in HIM.

Yesterdays Post

So.... I missed yesterday.
But I didn't do it on purpose. No, I have a few pretty good reasons why it happened.
First, my pictures took really long to load
Then when they finally loaded, somehow I lost them all and had to start again.
By that time I was ready for a nap, so I went to bed. :)
Then I woke up to a phone call from my sweet husband telling me that he was taking me on a date, and we were leaving in 1/2 an hour! :)
So I got ready with full intentions of posting once we got back.
We had a great date, chicken tacos at Boston Pizza (so yummy) tennis, some shopping and then an ice cap.
So it was after midnight when we got home, well I was late anyway so I figured I'd just do it today.
And thats what Im doing!

Well all that to say that, last week I was able to go a celebrate with the Bride to be, my cousin Elena.
She is planning a wedding to the man of her dreams for August 30.
Elena has always been like one of my sisters, she was my first girl cousin on either side of the family, after 6 years of having only boy cousins.
We have done so very many things together and have countless memories!
I am so happy for you Elena, may God bless your marriage!!

Surprise showers are the best!!

Lots of people showed up!

There were games.

Advice from Mom.

And the aunties. Ha ha Rita.

Opening gifts.

So much yummy food!

All the best with your wedding plans Elena! Love you!

We Want to Know...

What do you want to know?
So like 2 weeks ago I was informed by my lovely sisters, the same ones who got me into the "Hello June" blogging thingy, that we would be doing  blog together!!
Its going to be so much fun they told me!!
I was a little sceptical but you know how sisters can be, so I agreed.
Anyway, our vlog is going to be all about answering your questions!
So if you have anything, and I mean ANYTHING that you want to know about me, my family, how our life is anything but boring, farming, if I like eating  pickles, going for walks, what my favourite pass time is and so, then ask the questions and we will give you the answers.
We are wanting to do the vlog the last day of June, so ask away!!!

Father's Day #1

One fun thing about being married is, you get celebrate Fathers Day on each side of the family! :)
Yesterday we spent the day with Josh's family.
After church we headed out to the beach where met them and Henry and Megan.
