Guess What...

WARNING: This is going to be a long post.
Anyone know what Josiah is looking at?
That's right, It's seeding time!!
Dad, Josh and Caleb filling the tank with seed...
Tractor #1, this one does all the tilling, making sure the ground is nice and soft and growable (is that a word) ? This is also the tractor my Sweetheart drives.

Tractor #2, the tractor Dad drives, this one pulls the seeder.

Working together, It works really well and goes quite quickly.
To everything there is a season, and time to every purpose under the heaven.
A time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to pluck up that which is planted.
Ecclesiastes 3: 1+2

BRIGHT EYES

In the last 2 weeks Andrew has really been improving with sleeping at night, it is such a blessing!! He will now usually go to sleep between 9 and 10 and then wake once around 3 then sleep through till somewhere between 7 or 8. It just makes such a big difference to how our day goes. Here are some pictures of Andy after his bath this morning.

Andrew is also scheduled to have his MRI and his surgery done on May 4. Not exactly the best of times, but we are so happy that they once again got both appointments on the same day, this and they also said that Andrew is now old enough, he won't have to stay in the hospital over night after his surgery! So we just want to praise the Lord for every blessing, and we ask that you would once again lift us up in your prayers, praying for Andrew to be healthy, wisdom for the Doctors and that God's will would be done, Thank you!!!

New Toys!

At the baby shower that our church had for Andrew a bunch of the ladies bought us an exersauser which I had been waiting to put together. Finally I decided that Andy was almost big enough and I better get started. :) Andrew thought it was a good idea too and he waited eagerly as I tried to figure everything out.
I never thought there would be that many pieces!!

So out came the instruction book. :)

Andrew waiting as patiently as babies can wait.

Finally we got it done! And Andy got to try it out right away...

He still is not quite sure what to make of it, but he does like the colors and in a short while I'm sure he will be spending a lot of time in there.
Thanks a lot to all of you girls for the very nice gift!

God's Sign of a Promise

There really are no words to describe the beauty of a rainbow, especially the first one of the season...

Oh LORD our LORD, how excellent is YOUR name in all the earth! Who has set THY glory above the heavens.

A Long Time Ago...

Way, way back when Josh and I were painting our house, before we got married we had big plans... We were going to make one of our bathrooms into a Blue Bomber room. For those of you that are not from Canada, the Blue Bombers are our football team for Manitoba so of course we are always cheering them on! The team colors are blue and gold so we started out by painting the walls all dark blue....
Now that's kinda how things stayed, I guess you could say a bomber bathroom just was not number one on our list of things to do, plus our Winter was really short. But after we finally got tired of a plain blue bathroom like 2 weeks ago, we decided to finish what we had started. So we bought a few Bomber things...
A flag from a second hand store...
Some stickers...

And a cool light switch cover.

Then for the finishing touch I thought I would try my hand at painting, so I got my stuff together, drew the logo on the wall and got to work.

Andrew thought it was kinda boring to watch but I had a lot of fun doing it.

And the finished product, so now hopefully this will keep us happy for a long, long time! :)

Just Like My Daddy...

With Spring here Josh has been looking for a tractor so that we can upgrade one of our old ones; He has been looking through a lot of papers at different sales and so on. So when Mommy needs to get a few things done and she needs 2 hands to do it Andrew gets an early lesson in farming...
Not exactly sure what he is there for. :)

He did like the flash on the camera though!

I think he will make a very cute little farmer, don't you?
