Big News!!

Andy is walking!!! He started about a week ago and is now following we around all over the house. He still can't crawl or get up on his own so he is always very careful that he won't fall because then he knows he's stuck till Mom comes and helps him. We are working on learning how to get up so hopefully it won't take to long.
Walking outside is even harder because the ground is uneven, but because he loves being outside so much I don't think it will take him long to learn.
We are very excited to see him continue to grow, I am especially happy for this since my back was starting to wear out. And Andy is happy because now he can entertain himself.

10 Month Pictures

Our dear sweet baby is growing up! He is such a fun little guy to be around! We are so blessed by Andrew and his sweet smile.

FINALLY!!! The Real Food!

One week a go I started giving Andrew baby food. I bought a sweet potato and Great Grama gave him a banana so we got started.

I think maybe I'll stick with the sweet potatoes for now...

They taste a lot better!!!

Andrew is doing very well. He is growing lots and now weighs over 13 lbs. As you can see his hair is not growing, but he makes up for his lack of hair in every other way :)

He sleeps through the night most of the time, once in a while he wakes up not not often at all.

He is not rolling over but he does move himself around with his feet some how, I can't really explain how he does it.

He is beginning to figure out his name and will look at you when he hears it, although he has so many so I don't blame him for taking awhile. :)

He is a very happy baby when his tummy is full and he is not sleepy, he loves it when you take time to sit and talk to him and just spend time with him. He is a little sweetheart!!

This morning I put Andrew down to sleep at 11. I got the garden weeded, clothes hung out on the line, ate lunch and watered my plants. I came in 2 1/2 hours later and this is what I saw...

Still Here!

Once again it the blog has been slightly neglected for which I am sorry, the weather being so nice is what I'll choose to blame this time. :)

Anyway, I thought I would share these cute pictures that I took this afternoon, Andy is starting to enjoy his time in here more and more.

Andrew is getting over his cold now so he is able to come out too, he is growing so big, I'm not sure how much he weighs now, but he is starting to notice so many things and he is starting to hold onto and chew on toys, I'm enjoying every minute of it!!

New Toys!

At the baby shower that our church had for Andrew a bunch of the ladies bought us an exersauser which I had been waiting to put together. Finally I decided that Andy was almost big enough and I better get started. :) Andrew thought it was a good idea too and he waited eagerly as I tried to figure everything out.

I never thought there would be that many pieces!!

So out came the instruction book. :)

Finally we got it done! And Andy got to try it out right away...

He still is not quite sure what to make of it, but he does like the colors and in a short while I'm sure he will be spending a lot of time in there.
