This is the day I always pull out my journal and take a walk down memory lane.

9 years a go today.

Someone asked me to marry him.

The man of my dreams couldn't picture the rest of his life without me.

He wanted to do life together with me.

He loved me enough to ask my Dad if he trusted him enough to let him be my protector.

He decided that day that he would do anything for me.

He would love me no matter what.

He would look out for me and keep me safe.

He would stay by my side through the good and the bad the easy and the hard.

6 months later we said 'I do"but it all began on that day, 9 years ago, while walking down a gravel road.

So you wanna get married?

The best question I've ever been asked!!

Another Year Together

And I love him more now then ever!

Six years, I doesn't sound that long, and yet I feel like we have been together forever, my life before Josh seems like so long ago!

Josh, you complete me, you make me smile, you listen to me, you understand me so well, so often you know what I'm thinking before I even say a word.

God new what He was doing when He brought us together. And I want to spend the rest of my life serving Him together with you. 

My prayer is that in the next 6 years and beyond we will be used by God as His servants, a witness in the way we raise our family and completely surrendered to Him.

The Best Day Of My Life!

1,825 days ago I made THE best decision of my life, I married my best friend in the while world!

It's been wonderful! I not regretted my decision at all! 

Josh has made me a better person, he has been there through EVERYTHING, he has been a shoulder to cry on, a friend to laugh with, someone to keep me warm at night, a wonderful daddy to our kids, someone to share secrets with, tell stories to, a friend who has always been there for me, a great kisser :) and the most loyal husband I could wish for!

I am so blessed to call you my husband and I can't wait to see where the next 5 years will bring us!

Anniversary Time!

Today marks 1461 days of married life for me!!! Wow, by far the funniest, happiest, and fastest days of my life! I love my husband, that's about all I have to say. :) He makes me happy, he hugs me, he comforts me, he explains stuff to me, he is my bestest friend!!!!

I don't really have any words of great wisdom to share like wives that have been married for a long time :) But I do want to share the one thing that I have learnt in marriage; and that is, do EVERYTHING that you can to please your husband! From kissing him goodnight to picking up his dirty clothes. :) You will never be sorry for anything that you did for the love of your life. At the time it may seem small, not important and often it will go unrecognized, but it's something that I have learnt is important, it builds character in you and brings joy! No matter how you feel, always take the opportunity to serve your husband!!

I Am Married to the Man of my Dreams

For 2 years already. And they have been the best 2 years of my life!

God blessed me so richly when he brought you and me together, I can't imagine sharing my life with anyone but you.

You and I were made for each other, you are my best friend.

I thank God every day for you. You are a wonderful Dad and an amazing husband!!

Two Years Ago...

Two years ago today the love of my life asked me to marry him!! It was nearly as exciting for me as getting married since Josh and I had only started courting 2 weeks earlier.

I remember that day so well, Josh came over in the morning and we went to church with my family. It was a very hot day so after lunch we visited and looked at pictures. Then Josh and my Dad went for a walk. I would have given anything to be there! :)

After they FINALLY got back we had to hurry and leave for a family gathering, we were late, thanks to either Josh or Dad. :)

After eating, playing some games and singing (I really have no idea how I had enough patience for all that) Josh and I went on a walk during which he asked me to marry him.

It was nothing fancy, but it was a moment I would not ever trade away! To those of you who are married or engaged you know how it feels, I can't think of words to describe it!

Josh and I got married 6 months later and we have grown more in love ever since. If I look at how much more I love Josh now then when we first got married (and I thought then that I loved him as much as I ever would) I can't wait to see how much more we will be in love in 2 years for now. Being married is amazing!!!

I love you so much Josh!!! And I look forward to spending the rest of my life with you. You truly are a gift from God!!

Our First Anniversary

Well... it's been one whole year! All I can say is that so much has happened since February 28 2009. I am married to the most wonderful person I know, I am so blessed!!

Since I never did post any pictures of our wedding I asked Megan to fix some up for me, which she gladly did, so here they are.
