My Heart Is Full

The other night (a few weeks ago) :) After our wiener roast, I had gone inside to get some house work done, the kids were playing outside and when I went to check on them the weather and the lighting were just to perfect not to take pictures.
So I took my 3 little subjects, washed some dirt off of their faces (their feet are not clean, cause these are outdoor pictures) :) And off we went.
We had a grand time, although yo have no idea how silly I feel with all the noises and faces that I make just to get 3 kids to all look at you, keep their eyes open and smile, all at the same time. I'm sure it's quit the show! :)

Here is one of the many pictures that didn't quite turn out. :)
Yes I must look and sound funny. :)

Thats more like it.

This one just melts my heart cause I didn't even tell them to do this.

Signs of Summer

A few weeks ago we enjoyed our first wiener roast of the year. (Since it is Summer I haven't got to posting these till now) :)
We got Josh a new fire pit for him birthday and the kids were excited to try it out.
We had a lot of fun and are looking forward to doing it again!

Andy watching the fire.

Kayla waiting for her food.

Brendan just being his silly little self.

Roasting hot dogs.

Silly faces.

And you can't have a fire without sm'ores!

Planting The Garden!

This week it was finally time, time to get out in the dirt and get our seeds planted!
It was beautiful day for being outside, and we had a lot of fun.

My little, big helpers.

The freshly tilled garden, thanks to a wonderful father in law!

Lots of seeds.

My handy little garden bag thanks to a sweet Grandma.

Tomatoes and peppers from my thoughtful Mother.

Getting started with the peas.

Planting pumpkins.

And we finished it off with the potatoes.

3 Long straight (ish) :) rows.

My wonderful helper.

He did a super duper job of placing each potato in the hole with the pokey side up. :)

And the finished product. Now the waiting starts, the kids are eager to see what all their work will produce!

When Andy's Not At Home...

Andy has been out riding with Josh a couple of times, and when he's gone I have a little shadow.
So today we baked a cheese cake, and had a great time doing it!
