God's Sign of a Promise

There really are no words to describe the beauty of a rainbow, especially the first one of the season...

Oh LORD our LORD, how excellent is YOUR name in all the earth! Who has set THY glory above the heavens.

A Long Time Ago...

Way, way back when Josh and I were painting our house, before we got married we had big plans... We were going to make one of our bathrooms into a Blue Bomber room. For those of you that are not from Canada, the Blue Bombers are our football team for Manitoba so of course we are always cheering them on! The team colors are blue and gold so we started out by painting the walls all dark blue....
Now that's kinda how things stayed, I guess you could say a bomber bathroom just was not number one on our list of things to do, plus our Winter was really short. But after we finally got tired of a plain blue bathroom like 2 weeks ago, we decided to finish what we had started. So we bought a few Bomber things...
A flag from a second hand store...
Some stickers...

And a cool light switch cover.

Then for the finishing touch I thought I would try my hand at painting, so I got my stuff together, drew the logo on the wall and got to work.

Andrew thought it was kinda boring to watch but I had a lot of fun doing it.

And the finished product, so now hopefully this will keep us happy for a long, long time! :)

Just Like My Daddy...

With Spring here Josh has been looking for a tractor so that we can upgrade one of our old ones; He has been looking through a lot of papers at different sales and so on. So when Mommy needs to get a few things done and she needs 2 hands to do it Andrew gets an early lesson in farming...
Not exactly sure what he is there for. :)

He did like the flash on the camera though!

I think he will make a very cute little farmer, don't you?

It Must Be Spring!!

Well as I look out the window it seems like football season has once again begun. It's time to trade in scarves, mitts and coats, for t-shirts, hats and bare feet, a wonderful trade in my opinion! :)
Sadly I had to stay in with the baby, and my cold :( which would not allow me do any running what so ever, but we sure are enjoying the view and cheering on the teams!!
The boys team, Nathan, Jeese, Zach, Caleb and my sweetheart.
The girls team, Mikaya, Brooke, Kerri, Megan and Jennifer.
Getting ready for the throw...
Pausing the game for some entertainment....
a big old pussy cat.
I think Mikaya thought he should be on the girls team. :)

And as for Andy, he is doing good, still coughing and dealing with a stuffy nose, but quite enjoying life, right now he is lying on the table beside me and I dare say he would be flying if he were a bird! :)

Thank you For Praying

Josh and I just left the hospital, with Andrew. They decided that he was not feeling well enough to go through with the surgery because of his cold, so it is going to be rescheduled but we don't know for when yet, I'm thinking that it could be around 4 to 6 weeks.
So thank you once again for your prayers, they were very much appreciated and Andrew is definatly feeling better!!

PLEASE PRAY!!!

Good evening, sorry about not posting for such a long time, Baby is taking up alot of my time, and I am enjoying it alot! :)
We just want to you ask everyone of you to please pray for Andrew as he is going in for surgery to repair his hernia at 8:45 tomorrow morning.
Also please pray that he will be able to go through with the surgery, Saturday night he started coughing again, and he was feeling very bad yesterday, but we know that God will work everything out for good so we decided to head into the city and see what that Doctors say. We also know that there are many people praying for his health, that he will improve, he has been doing alot better today, so we ask that if you think of us that you would please lift our little man up to the Lord in prayer, asking that he will be healthy enough to go through with the surgery and that if he does that everything will work out. We know that we serve a great God and that He can do anything! We have already seen Him at work in Andrew's life!
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers, God bless!!!
