Birthday Time!!!

 The past 2 weekends have been exciting for us!

We celebrated the birthdays of our oldest 2 kids.

Andy was first, on November 4.

We now have an 8 year old!!

Where has the time gone??

We started the day with brunch, quick sticky buns and fruit.

Morning smiles.

Next came gifts.

 After a full day of doing whatever he wanted, which included playing outside and lots of wii; we had pizza and cupcakes for supper.

Everyone was happy!!

8 Years

Today we celebrate.

We celebrate the birthday of a special guy.

We celebrate life.

We celebrate miracles.

We celebrate Andrew Joshua.

8 years ago we started on the best journey of our lives!

Being parents is the hardest, most rewarding thing I have or will ever do!

The blessings of training children is amazing!

Andrew, thank you for being such a sweet older brother.

Thank you for the joy you bring.

Thank you for being you!

We love you and pray God's blessings on you in the coming year!!

5 Years Ago Today.....

This happened!!!!

After 92 long days in the hospital we fed Andrew, made our rounds and said good bye to the many, many nurses that we had met while there, and headed HOME!!!!!

And the smiles tell it all!

We are so blessed!!!

Happy 3rd Birthday Andrew Joshua!!

Andrew you are a very special boy to us, your smile and silly ways make me laugh. And even though your not really into talking you are a smart little man and I am often surprised by what is going on in your little head! :) We love you Andy, you are such a precious gift to us and we have so enjoyed these past 3 years with you! We know that God will do amazing things in your life and we are honored to be your parents!

Saturday was such a beautiful day, and according to the weather it looked like it might be our last nice day for a while. So after brunch Andy Kayla and I went out to take some pictures.

It is very hard to get a nice smile out of Andy, he is either looking at whatever is going on around him or when he does look at you and you tell him to say "cheese" he really says "cheese" and there is nothing funny about it to him. :) So after making a lot of different noises and lots of jumping up and down this is what we got. :)
