Making the most of Summer

Sometimes in the Summer you go to garages sales in your town.

Sometimes in the Summer the guys are out picking rocks in the fields.

Sometimes your husband asks if you want to meet them in town for lunch.

And you always say yes to no cooking! :)

So we met Josh and his brothers Caleb, Zach, Jess and Nate for lunch.

It was fun time of chatting, eating, sunshine, ice cream and making memories.

Cause sometimes you just need to stop and enjoy Summer.

It melted pretty fast in the sunshine though.

I started out feeding her.

But we both decided this would work better.

Spring Beauty

Lilacs are one of my favourite kinds of flowers, when it comes to ones that don't last very long anyway. :) I wish that they would last longer!

When I was little I wanted to have lilacs for my wedding flowers, I ended up getting married in the middle of Winter, so that didn't happen.

None the less I still enjoy picking these beauties every Spring I could just breath in the fragrance all day!

And they are even more beautiful when they are picked for you by your cute kids!

Hello June 2017

Yes, it is June again!

I am always amazed at how fast time goes once the nice weather comes!

And since we cant really break tradition My beautiful sister-in-law and I are going to attempt to once again blog every day in June.

Brendan is 4!

My baby boy turns 4 today!

Where has the time gone?

I still so clearly remember the day he was born.

We had waited and waited and he was worth every day of it!

Such a cute little kid he was (and still is)

Brendan you brought a lot of change when you joined our family, going from 2 to 3 was the hardest time for me, I didn't seem to have enough hands to get the work done.

But looking back now I wouldn't trade it for the world!

Our families helped out so many times in so many ways and I was able to just sit and hold you.

And when I look back at pictures now I cant believe how you've grown up!

That time, though not the easiest was so very special!

You are getting to be such a smart kid!

I cant believe you will be starting school next Fall!!

Being your teacher will be an adventure!

You're personality is so cute!

We love you're facial expressions and how serious you take things and into everything you get!

You put your whole heart into life and living, and its a joy to watch!

3 years old.

Is it Spring Yet??

Her Brothers and sister went to play outside.

She was rather sad about the fact that she had to stay inside.

So I opened the door for her.

She was very happy to see the sunshine and the outdoors!

She kept calling for the puppy to come!

The snow is melting!!

Puppy!!!!

Thats the look of pure excitement!!

The puppy came!!!!

 She is one happy little girl!!
