Shopping Day

Now that 3 of the 4 girls in my family are married and spread out a bit more, we decided that we needed to start okaying get togethers so that we see each other more often.

This month we all met in the city for a day of shopping for our upcoming family camping trip.

All but one of the girls went so we were 11 in total, talk about fun!

We went to a new mall, it was, well pretty big!

Filling Up Our Days

All the guys left us this weekend for a mens fishing/boating trip.

So we decided to head over to my Moms for the day and just hang out.

Of course I forgot my camera, probably because I wanted so bad to bring it, but anyway, grainy cell phone pictures will have to do.

We enjoyed their beautiful sunny deck, as well as lollipops for the kids, while Andy went out riding with Grampa.

Then we tried out the pool for awhile, it was super nice!

After drying off in the wind we came in and visited, while the boys played tractors. 

And wrestled with Uncle Ben.

We had a delicious mennonite supper, watermelon and roll cookies.

After supper we did face painting. 

Soaked our feet and painted out nails.

We love this family!

Last week I got a text from one of my sisters asking if the kids and I wanted to join them on a hike and picnic. Well we are always up to a fun way to enjoy our day, so we said yes, got ready and left!

We headed out to one of our pastures, unloaded and followed Mom through the cow poop :) It was a beautiful day, perfect for walking!
