Andrew Is 32 Weeks Old!

Time for another up date. :) Andrew is back on the CPAP; He got an infection in his blood on Friday and when a little person like that gets sick it's alot harder for them to breath, so as soon as he starts feeling better we are hoping to get him back onto the nasal prongs, they might try them tomorrow and we will see how he does.

Friday was also the day that Andrew got up to 27 mls of milk per feeding, which was his goal. But since he got sick he threw up his feeding Saturday morning, which ment that they had to bring the amount down and start over again with 12 mls. So as of this morning he was getting 15 mls. They are now only going up 1 ml every other feeding instead of 2.

Because of the decrease in his feedings he is also still getting vitamins, and other nutrients through an IV. They took out the IV he had in his tummy and put one in his arm. This one has to be changed at least every 2 days, so we are praying that he keeps his milk down this time and that his infection will clear up fast so that he wont have to get poked to often and they can just take the IV out. But we will wait and see what God's plans are.

As you can see, it's not to comfortable for him.
