The Beginning of the End

The third trimester!
It came so quickly, to think that I only have 12 more weeks left seems unreal!
I guess being pregnant in the Summer with 3 other little kids will do that to you. :)
But its been great!
A really easy pregnancy so far, other than a few aches and stretches here and there I feel fabulous!
At this stage the baby weighs around 2 1/2 pounds and has almost enough fat to keep up its own body temperature.
It can blink its eye lids now, which have the cutest long eye lashes. :)
He/she is around 16 inches long and is kicking up a storm!
I have never had a baby move around this much! :) Its a lot of fun!! The kids have been able to feel kicks too and it makes it more real for them.
At my appointment last week everything sounded great!

And here is my 28 week picture, taken with the self timer while the camera hung from our apple tree. :)

Sunday Walks

Yesterday was Sunday.
We had a wonderful day of rest and being together.
It had been a long time since we had nothing to do all day, with harvest happening during the week, and us being gone last weekend it was about time to just be at home!
We all had a blast
We love to be together

After a pizza lunch and some relaxing (a nap for me) we went out for a walk with these cuties and their sister to bring some mail to the mailbox.

On the way there we walked with the wind so they raced a lot, not so much on the way back. :)

We took some normal shadow pictures...

And some goofy ones.

The excitement of putting something in the mailbox!!!

On the way back we collected rocks. I finally had to tell this boy to quit, his pockets and hands were full and I wanted to leave some rocks on the road! :)

Smiles for mom.

And smiles with mom. My sweet little peeps!

Baby #4 Update

Well, I hadn't really planned to do any weekly updates this time but I have a certain sister-in-law that thought it would be a good idea (she basically begged me to do it) :) So in order to keep the peace I decided to would start.
I can't promise that I'll get to it every week, but I'll do my best.

So here we are, week 26, getting really close to the beginning of the last trimester!
Time has gone by so quickly, I remember with my first 2 pregnancies how I would always wait for the next week to come, now it gets here before I'm ever ready for it! But I am getting excited to see this little one, only 14 weeks to go!
I have been feeling great! With all the late nights of harvest that we have been having I usually don't  have a problem listening to Josh and going for a nap, but otherwise I have a lot of energy and have really enjoyed the Summer!
We had our ultrasound a few weeks ago and they said that everything looked great! Praise the Lord!
We are so thankful for the promise of another blessing on its way!
Highlights for the baby this week are recognizing my voice and other voices heard often, its amazing an amazing thought to know that he/she already knows what I sound like!

And here is my late night, timer on the camera, out of focus, picture! :)

Our Little Fish

A month ago we headed out for a week of camping and swimming lessons.
The kids had a wonderful time and all did really well!
We camped in the same town as the lessons were in, so it was a 20 min walk to the pool.
Every day we would load up the wagon in the morning for Brendan's lessons and then go again in the afternoon for Andy and Kayla's lessons.
We had beautiful weather and a lot of fun!!

The kids always enjoyed the wagon rides.

Brendan waiting for his lessons to start. This kid can't get enough of the water!

Andy and Kayla did really well this year and learnt a lot.

Little seeds.

Growing into big trees.

Waiting their turns.

Fishy in the middle.

Back floats.

And front floats.

Having fun on Henry the Hippo.

Brendan watching.

And snacking.

And being cute. :)

{Family} {Fun} {Football}

Life on the farm has become busy.
And thats a good thing!
It just means that the relaxing, camping trips and lazy nights have been traded in for,
combing, swathing, hauling grain and late nights.
It also means that now football gets played on Sunday afternoons, which is really a pretty nice to for playing. :)

A few Sunday's ago I brought my camera along and took some pictures while I sat in my chair instead of playing with the others. :)

Warm up time!

Henry trying out his field goal skills.

And Josh's turn.

Then some smiles.

And it was time for the game!!

Throwing.

Catching.

Running.

More throwing.

More catching.

Brendan kept busy on the sidelines.

After the game Josh's Mom and I finally got around to getting a picture of all these little boys. Between their family, our family and Henry and Megan, there are 7 boys age 6 and under.
Isn't this just the cutest?!

And we had to put Kayla in for one of them, she's smack dab in the middle of these little guys! :)
