Flash Back Friday

Well it was 1 year on Wednesday since Josh and I started this wonderful journey together. It has been the most amazing thing to ever happen to me. God has been so good and I am so very blessed to have Josh as my husband. I love you Sweetheart!!

Our Beautiful Country

Since we live in the country and are able to enjoy alot of God's beauty I thought I would give you all a look at some of the sights that we are enjoying this time of year, hope you like them.

We are Expecting!

As some of you have probably read already on Rosalie's blog, Josh and I are expecting our first baby for next January.

We are both very excited, as is our family. (: We found out on Mothers Day and are already counting down the weeks!

I am feeling just fine as you can see by the pictures I have been posting, and so far I'm really enjoying being pregnant!

Football Time!!

This week Josh and I got to go to a football game, Calgary Stampeders vs Winnipeg Blue Bombers, we had a great time!

Two fighter jets flew over the stadium at the start of the game.

The first play, there was alot of action in the game which made it very exciting!

It was a sell out as you can tell.

Taking Care Of The Animals

I am very sorry to all of you that check out our blog, Josh I have been busy taking of the animals on the farm while Mark and Rosalie are on vacation. So I thought that you might like to see what has been keeping us busy. :)The first thing we do is put the horses into their eating pasture so that they can fill them selves.



While Im doing that Josh starts with the milking,

And then I help him finish up. (:

Josh feeds the calves,

while I get the cats and Teddy their milk.

Then theres the tuckeys,

the goats to silence,

and the chickens.

They are interesting to do,

but some times they are not to friendly, :)

So that is what our life has been kept busy with for the past 2 weeks, its been interesting, but we will enjoy having the family back agian!

Haying Time!

Making Hay Step One

This week Josh and I have been busy "making hay while the sun shines" (: This is what the field looked like when we started...

...and this is what it looked like once were done, it smelled really good too! :)


The faithful haybine once again doing it's job.



While cuttting we found a duck that was not quite old enough to fly, we moved hin out of our path and let him go.

Step Two

After letting the hay dry for a few days we raked it, putting 2 swaths into 1 and letting the bottom dry too.

Josh, still smiling, thats always a good sign! :)

This is what it looks like from the back of the baler, gathering up the swath....

Oh one more thing, testing the bale to make sure that it is nice and dry.
